For me, it is a near-perfect daily wear. It is the thickness (due to the GMT function) that leaves some room for improvement. The Grand Seiko SBGH277 and SBGH279 are thinner13.3mmbut still relatively thick. I dont understand why Grand Seiko cant get this under 12mm. On the other hand, it is nitpicking, as I am never bothered by the thickness of my own Grand Seiko. With a retail price of 6,200 for the Grand Seiko SBGH77 and SBGH279, it is a very serious option for those who are in the market for an everyday wear.Although we are not talking small change here, the value for money you will receive is amazing. Theres no other brand in this price range that offers the same level of finishing when it comes to the case, dial, and hands. Whether this watch is for you, is a matter of taste, certainly not a discussion of quality.
